My 1987 Supra hard top 5 speed non-turbo

Saavedro88's 1987 Toyota Supra

I bought this car Tuesday, Oct. 3 2006, and it took me a week to get pictures because starting Wednesday morning, we had pretty much torrential rains till just about midafternoon the following Wednesday. When we went to go see the car, the guy was asking $1800, but when we got there he said he had just realized that there was a tree branch through the rear windshield so he was willing to come down a little bit. He also told us that a couple of the injectors were bad, but he had the replacements for them. We drove it down to a gas station and some guy we met up with there who was a Toyota technician checked it out and said it was pretty solid, other than the injectors and the window. We drove it back to the guy's house and told him that to get the injectors replaced and the window fixed would cost us quite a bit of money, so we asked him if he would go down to $1000. He said sure, he had never driven it and was just trying to get rid of it. I couldnt be happier myself.

This car was probably in a wreck sometime in its past. I couldnt get a good picture of it, but the front left fender and the rear left fender have been replaced and are a slightly different colour than the rest of the vehicle and the pinstripe, which runs across the door, does not continue along those panels.

The interior is actually pretty clean, I took the driver side door panel off to replace the speaker, so thats what all the junk is all over the floor and seat. The car has the Live Sound optional package which means that all the speaker compartments are sealed, instead of just being holes in the door.

The seat bolsters are pretty torn up but thats pretty much expected on a twenty year old car. I don't know if all Mk III Supras are the same but this one has like, 23 way adjustable seats, including bolster tightening, and lower and upper back adjusts.

The window was pretty torn up, so the night we got home we covered the whole window with plastic sheeting and duct tape.

New window! Only $250.

Hey I really like what you have going on so far. Keep up the good ideas. I plan to lower my car next week with a full set of H & R Springs...and yes the roof racks will be gone when I will be at the show lol. I am also new to this site and was wondering if u could drop by and check my car out and comment on what u think I should change. I'm also going to be entering into the Nopi Nationals down in Hampton, G.A. and I don't know if I have a good chance or not because this show is like one of the biggest car shows ever in the United States!!! Keep in touch! Again, sweet ride

The yellow fogs were already on there. They're really misaligned too, like at the sky lol. Then again, my headlights are set too low. If I'm ever in the area I'll be sure to let you know man, it's always cool to meet other Supra guys. Are you a member on Supramania?

I Haven't personally made it out there, but the guy I bought it from may have. It isn't all that fast now, one of the fastest cars around here but that's not too difficult where I live. Once I have some money to throw at it thing's will change though. I'm digging your Supra by the way, I don't know why, but I got a thing for white.
