Welcome To The Machine.... The GREEN MACHINE
This is the Gremlin before, as a 232 Straight 6 automatic.
I blew my second transmission, and decided it was time to go bigger.... much bigger. Here she is engineless and up in the air.
This is it right after I first put the motor in. I had chosen a House of Kolors paint and painted the engine bay while i had the motor out, but I recently decided to change the color, yet again.
This is this past winter, pulled the motor again, and went for a 2008 Dodge Viper Snakeskin Green
Engine bay after a quick detail....
Engine right after i pulled it
Freshly detailed motor being dropped into place
Motor in and running. While it was out over the winter, I had bought a T-5 World Class 5-speed from an 89 Mustang at a local swap meet. I decided to try and get it to fit, and it went right up with little modifications.
Oh, Happy Day!
All body work done, and the jambs all painted up!
In my garage all taped up and jacked up for paint!!!! How Exciting!
I started off with a grey sealer, and began laying out my basecoat, here it is in the stages of paint.
I couldn't help myself, I needed to see how a rim looked on it with the color layed out!
All finished! Now to try to put her together!
Rims on, untaped, and NICEEEEE!
I didn't feel liek paying the $185 for the stripe kit, so I painted them on with some matte black. She's starting to look good!
First car show I took it to, not completed of course, I need to find new bumpers, brackets and door handles for her.
She won best paint at the first show, and the preservation award at the second show I took her to! Shes got a set of 17" Polished Aluminum, American Racing Hopsters. They look great!!!
A quick shot of the interior before I had painted it. Right now it is all at my interior guy's shop getting redone.
