Here's Blue Funk....

Me and then fiance at a cabin in Pine Mountain, GA (Sorry for the bad pic of the car. A bit before digital cameras)

A shot with my then future son at an Easter egg hunt.
The was the first semi-sporty car that I ever had. When I went to the dealership, I was catching hell trying to pick which car I wanted to get. They had this one, which was fully loaded, and then a fully loaded black Chevy Cavalier Z-24 there. I alwas like the Z-24's since they first rolled out, and I'm not talking about the ones with the 2.4L that came later (although they looked nice too). Well, I chose the Sunbird GT, which I had never even seen before. I loved the color and thought that the front facia was cool as hell, with the flip up light covers and all and the fact that it already had a factory body kit too.
Anyways, I had to hook this up a bit more. On the outside I added some chrome fender trim, 20% tint all around, Ventvisors for the sunroof and windows, and some 16" low pro tires w/ a set of chrome ICW rims. For the interior, I didn't do much except for the sound system. I added a Pioneer detachable face AM/FM/Cassette player, 3 way Pioneer speakers in the factory a pair of 4 way Pioneer 6*9's on the rear deck, and a set of 10" Bostwick woofers in a bandpass box in the trunk. The one thing that I didn't like after got rid of the factory cassette player was that the factory radio was still in there. That little ass cube drove me nuts. I wanted to get rid of it, but couldn't find anything to fill in the spot if I took it out.
I loved the car though. The V-6 was quick and fast and I loved the growl from it. I even beat a Mustang with it once (it wasn't a 5.0 though, it was another V-6). The speedo tacked out at 100 mph, but she felt like she could do more.
I had bought a Testerossa body kit for the car, but due to the OEM body molding, I had to sell it since I wouldn't have been able to put it on. :( It would have looked bad ass if I could have gotten it put on though.
