A big thanks to everyone who has rated my PT! As of this most recent editing, Bella is ranked 17th out of 800 PT Cruisers! Don't forget to look at the other cruisers on Cardomain though, my Bella is pretty, but there are a lot of sweet, and sick rides out there!

This is my 2006 Crysler PT Cruiser, and her name is "Bella Morte", or just Bella. Bella is destined to become my hearse. You don't think I'm serious? My friends and family do. My mother has already told me she wants to be delivered to her resting place, some day, in my car. Possibly folded in half...
I bought her (my car, not my mother) new in October of 2007, with only about 300 miles on her, and those were from the delivery from an out of state dealer.
I hear differing opinions on what qualifies a car as modified, or customised. I've also heard there is a difference between what you want to do, and what you have done. My car is customised, and will continue to be for as long as I have a vision of what I want her to become. And I'm afraid I'll have to be one of those people who always has something they want to do, because I'm one of those people who doesn't have the reserves to always do what I want to do.
For those who have been to my ride page before and see a huge change in appearances on my car, it's the change from my original first picture, from a photoshop concept, to an actual photo of my car with only the current modifications and additions. I appreciate all the great feedback, but too many people missed the disclaimer that that photo was an idea of what I PLAN to do to the car, and skipped over the rest of the photos.
Since October 2007, I've made the following additions/changes to Bella:
Generic no name wire spoke wheel covers (Advance auto)

Chrome license plate frames (Autozone)

Rolled chrome round resonator exhaust tip (from Autozone, see the video!)

Small black ceramic "urn" with white roses on the dash (I wanted calla lilies, but can't find fake white callas small enough anywhere. Vase from Jo-Anns, flowers from Wal-Mart)

Shift Styles custom black alcantera leather shift boot (www.shiftstyles.com) and generic parts store black leather shift knob from Oreillys.

*** Self installed quarter inch chrome trim around the beltline from grille to grille (Autozone)

*** Self built and installed grille blackout. I built a frame, and using fine black wire mesh screen, I was able to effectively black out the space behind the upper grille. Except when standing very cose to the front, or when in bright daylight, the unattractive radiator and metal bracing are all but hidden, while still maintaining good airflow through to the cooling system. It's visible (or not :P) in most of the frontal photos
K&N drop in air filter (Wasn't available in stock from any local parts store. Found it in stock, and as cheap as online from Chux Trux here in Independence.

The tint has been removed and replaced. My Bella now has her curtains, and temporarily her Landau "stickers". Until I can get proper bars, chrome detail stickers cut out as landaus will have to do.

My most recent additions to my Bella are a factory cargo shelf, to which is now mounted a black resin urn. I plan to have purchased, or made a casket for the cargo area some time next spring.

These were all the most recent photos I've taken, replacing the old ones. I had a decent location, and it was close to dusk, but prior engagements prevented me from staying until the "golden hour" at sunset (or sunrise) to get the best quality lighting.
Low from the side...check out that booty!

Lower now...

Let's hit the ground for this one!
