Wow another year has gone by and I'm still not done working on this "Big Peso" but we did have some fun with it. Got invited to roll with our local corvette club!! Ha Ha the only Ford powered exotic, amongst some really nice C-5 vettes but really was funny that when I pulled into the venue, (cdf hanger in Mclelen air park) every one came out to see the pantera!! I was kinda feeling outta place but everyone loved the car. The real fun was when they let us out onto the flight line to take pics amongst the planes as a backdrop and then up close with another plane at the end of the flight line. Was pretty cool wish we could have tried a top end run on the runway but alas it was a live airport when we were there, matter of fact one of the vettes kicked up a little dust and got in trouble with the tower, they said she was speeding.. lol yeah right.. ohh well enjoy the pics. Well that is all till January 08 we will be tearing her apart again.. got to repair the a/c behind the dash, broke something this fall and then all of the suspension and brakes will come off to be detailed, sandblast and powdercoating are in order.. plus a little interior overhauling.. plus we will be adding to the stables have lime green posche project racer and a 87 slant nose turbo look that was a factory slant nose but no turbo motor.. go figure.
