The car's nickname is a reference to it coming for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Great White north) and it being white.

Here it is, my '82 Fairmont Futura. Updates include custom bodywork (shaved handles, emblems and some chrome, cowl hood) and a '94 Mustang GT engine/tranny.
Needs new rear bumper and interior work.

All work to date completed by Terry Lemire of Ishpeming, Michigan. Finish is show car quality!! Future plans include new rear axle, new interior with quad bucket seats, gauge upgrade, custom bumper work (narrowed and moved in tighter to body), sequential tail light upgrade (like old T-birds), QA1 coil over conversion with QA1 "K" member and who knows what else!.

1/11/2007 Update: I have new bumpers for front and back; the kind without rub strips. They are currently being sectioned to narrow them 3/4" on each side to tuck them closer to the body and I have altered the mounting brackets so they'll sit only about 1" from the body in the front to back direction.

I have also installed a new steering wheel (Grant Challenger GT) and a new shift handle.

Finally, I have 2 new Corbeau GTS II seats for the front and enough extra fabric to re-do the back seat, the headliner and visors.

3/16/2008 Update: Bumper work complete and powder coated silver to match wheels. Will install after motor is dropped back in. Swapped in a '93 V8 'stang 'k' member and front suspension complete. Installed Lincoln discs and calipers. Installed '88 Tbird TC rear axle with 3.55 and discs. Currently rebuilding T5 to 'Z' specs. Will reassemble rest of car in May so new pics will be up then. Interior upgrades will go in over the summer.
