I bought this car because I was a capri enthusiast. The mixed bag of parts, designs, and drivers have always seemed satisfying. From bumper to bumper, many continents can find the work of their peoples hands. Obviously in the states this is a rare car. I have never gotten this car to function. Due to some terrible advice I had gotten, money, and a lack of information about critical parts, I never got the chance to drive this car. It is frustrating to have a car that starts every time, but will not behave normally. So this car sits, today, behind my parents goat barn. frustrating.
This is she, runs good but looks like my face.
this is what that god forsaken tree did to my door, I tried to do tha bondo stuff but it is so hard, so I cracked it off, I will paint it and just put some generic body trim on, maybe later in life after school, and greater income, I will get a Razzi body kit and update the trim to the '94 trim which looks right cheeky.
Bumper damage, and some corner stuff...not sure quite what to do about that, but the paint was offing so I had to paint it because surface rust came.
smells like urine
When I got the car, the previous owner did not inform me of the problem with the shifter. It had escaped the supporting bracket and was resting on the muffler. I tried getting another assembly at a salvage yard but it was impossible to take off. I found out that this guy must have been in a car accident or fallen REALLY hard on the shifter to push it all the way through the steel and rubber booty. So I drilled some holes and put some bolts through under the lip to keep it off of the exhaust, it shifts better now, but 2nd gear is still hard to find.

this was my neon. Sad to have to send it to the Junk yard but 10 years of ownership and over 200,000 miles have left me with nothing but pleasant memories. By no means a perfect car, but for all occassions it was mine, all mine. Nothing will ever replace it or the good times I had with my friends and on road trips and every day that this car decided to wake me up and sling me around the racecourses in the hills of South Eastern Chester County.
