1968 Nova!! "NovaDawg" So this is my car

. My Grandma bought it new and drove it until I turned 16 and then she gave it to me for mowing her lawn. Not a bad deal. When I got it, it had a straight six 250 cid engine and a 2 speed powerglide tranny. I drove it like that for a couple of years in high school, and then my senior year I dropped in a 4-bolt main 350. It stayed like that for 5 years or so until I wrecked it. It sucked. the car was pretty much totalled. Over the next 5 years I rebuilt the whole thing from the firewall forward. The frame was even bent so I put on a new one and all new suspension (2" dropped hotchkis) and power-disk brakes. I also added power steering and a new 2" cowl induction hood from goodmark. Anyways I will include some more pictures.

At a car cruise. Note the old school 14" 5 hole Indy mags. Now it rolls on 16" Torq-Thrust II's.

Engine shot
this is my trunk that I did. I put in a 12 sub and amp and then carpeted the whole thing, it turned out pretty sweet, no visible wires. I think it looks pretty clean. And it hits pretty hard too, loud enough to shake this old car.

Another shot of the trunk, showing the amp and battery box. I put the battery in the trunk to clean up the engine compartment.
I also swapped out the old 2-speed Powerglide with a Muncie 4 speed. I put in Dynomax ceramic coated headers and Flowmaster 40 series dual exhaust with an H-pipe. My most recent additions include a Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake and a Holley 650 double pumper to replace the old Quadra-Toilet. I also put on K&N air filter and oil breathers.
I will add more pictures soon.

Here is a picture from a carshow last week. I won 2nd place in the 60's class. My son had a good time.
