ProjectJDM - JZZ30 Soarer 2.5GT

Hey boys and girls,

This is my baby... a 1993 Toyota Soarer 2.5GT. I purchased this at the end of 2001 (after graduating from high school). I was actually looking at a Z31 Nissan Fairlady Z or an R33 Skyline GTS25t but that's all history after I took one of these for a drive. I was on the hunt for the perfect Soarer when I was told about my one that was on the water (i.e. from Japan to Australia), had a look over it when it arrived (before it got registered here through a dealer) and snatched it up before anyone else could.

Modifications
OK, so I'm a college student so I don't have much cash to fix up my car, but it does get regularly serviced :) Here are the modifications that are currently on my car...

Engine and Performance
- A'PEXi Power Intake air filter kit
- Brand new CT12A turbos, steel compressor and impeller wheels, hi-flowed housings
- Blitz Supersound blow-off valve kit
- Custom exhaust system
- Custom hot earth kit

Suspension Set Up
- OEM Tokico (Toyota-branded) shock absorbers with TEMS (Toyota Electronically Modulated Suspension) control for damper settings
- Espelir Active Super Down lowering springs (2.5" drop)
- TRD brake pads on OEM large calipers (larger than factory SC300/SC400 and V8 Soarer brake calipers)
- 18" ADR Sterling diamond cut wheels, on 235/40 fronts and 265/35 rears

Exterior
- Chopped up front bar (looks like 95 model Soarers, getting ready for a dirty big FMIC)
- Turning lights rewired as spot lights
- JSM 6000K HID kit
- Factory front lip, rear spoiler and wiper options

Interior
- OEM leather seats from UZZ32 'Active' Soarer (JDM twin turbo's don't come with leather)
- Factory woodgrain
- Blue dash conversion
- A'PEXi EL 60mm boost meter

I.C.E.
- Pioneer CD/tuner
- Pioneer 'Bullet' competition splits front speakers
- Pioneer 'Bullet' competition 3-way rear speakers
- Kicker EX12 subwoofer
