work_monroe's 1993 Dodge Stealth

Perviously I was driving in a 1993 Ford Tempo just to get me around. But I got rid of it and started looking for a new car. After six months of searching, I found a 1993 dodge stealth, on yahoo autos, for $1,200 in Detroit. So I drove up there and and the car was perfect (execpt for the clutch). I saw the cars price was $8,999 and asked why it was marked down so low. The dealer told me that he took it in on a trade in for $1,200 of the car. Well during a test drive the clutch went out; thankfully, his mechanic was backed up for three weeks. So he just wanted his money back out of the other car. I got there right when they oppened after a holiday weekend. There was a line behind me of people who wanted that car. I did not have the money with me so I called my bank and had them wire transfer the money after I talked they dealer down slightly.

I got my green 1993 Dodge Stealth R/T for 1,100 dollars without a clutch. So I towed it home and stuck in a Centerforce stage 2 racing clutch.

Unfortunately; Somebody poured what I think was brake fluid on my hood and keyed my door so I have some body work to do. Today(10-10-06)I went to three body shops and all of them quoted the damage on my hood at about $2,000. OUCH!

Stealth looks great. Good work so far, and that car without a clutch for 1100 is a killer deal. Just a question...Whats with the bra?
