Always remember that somethings aren't quite as they may seem. This car has managed to surprise many unsuspecting fools. In case you can't tell which is me it's car 318 that night. The pic down below was of Import Day at Milan Dragway about two months after I got that timeslip. Came very close to the 15.6's that night but can't find that slip so we let it just go away. LOL. Unfortunatly there is no way to show just how much wheel spin this poor little car suffers from, but if you think about 3.0 liters of V6 shoved into a light little car you will realize the wheel spin is bound to happen. After comparing times in our group I'm begining to think either the timers at Milan Dragway are off or I may have a bit of a compression problem. With the mods done to this car it should be in the low 15's instead of running it's ass off just to get 15.7. This little Mitsu 3.0 is not a full blown race motor nor is it as stock as most would like to think. I'm pretty sure you can tell I care not about looks, but would rather focus on the true performance of the motor. For those who think they need a body kit to go fast, come see me on the street. For anyone who is looking to go fast, please keep in mind for every 100 pounds you add to your car you will loose approx. a tenth in the quarter, it all adds up quick. Just don't take this the wrong way though. Your car is "your car" and I feel everyone should do what makes them happy with it. Just remember that if you add that stuff you are the only one to blame if the car looses by a small pinch, without the extra weight you never know. LOL. 11-28-02Well, I have just got myself another P-body mopar. This one is an 89 Shadow 2.5 intercooled turbo A/T ( soon to be 5spd). More progress and pics to follow later. On the Duster I also got rid of the steel wheels and hub caps and put on a set of the star shaped Pumper wheels. They changed the whole look of the car for now. Some time in 2003 it will get a set of aftermarket wheels so I can run wider and taller tires for more traction (needed very much).9-13-2003Here ii is in 03 and still no new tires and not anywhere near enough time for new pics. These 60-70 hour work days will kill ya. LOL. The Duster has posted a new time of 15.32 but still has the traction troubles. Sooner of later I need to get those addressed regardless of finances.
