i dont know much about my car but i do know a few things, they are: 1. the original colour was powder yellow 2. the motor is 1600cc 3. it is the delux version(front n rear defrost, parcel tray, etc)

i bought a 68 vw squareback for my first car too thier really fun reliable cars if you go to ebay motors and type in volswagen squareback repair manual ofvw repair manual you should come up with some cause the one i bought has everything on the car ill come back later to leave another comment with the name of my book

Hey Kayla! Great project car to start with. The old V-Dubs are great and aren't too hard to find parts for. I also have a 1971 Square' that I plan to restore, but it will be a long process, I'm sure.
