Hi Everyone,
I'm sure by now you have seen my previous whips, but now I am glad to be back again and introduce to you my "2nd" 1992 Nissan Maxima GXE 4-Door Sports Car. Here are some specifications:
Color: KH2 Charcoal Pearl
Year: 1992
Make: Nissan
Model: Maxima
Trim Level: GXE
Options Package: Luxury Package
Options: Power Moonroof, Driver's Side Airbag, 4-Wheel Disc brakes W/ ABS, BOSE Premium Sound System, Automatic Temperature Control, 8-Way Power Adjustable Seats, etc...
Engine: 3.0 Liter 181-CID V-6 SOHC Sequential Multi-Port Fuel Injection
Engine Code: VG30E
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic Overdrive
Transmission Code: RE4F02A
This Maxima is identical to my "old" white 92' Max in every way except for three things:
1. Color: My "old" Max was Pearl White, this Max is Charcoal Pearl (Color Code: KH2)
2. Fog Lamps: The "old" Max didn't have fog lamps, my 2nd Max has factory installed Bosch Halogen Fog Lamps.
3. Transmission: My "old" Maxima trans went to heaven at 330,000 miles, and I didn't fix it due to high mileage and a lot of cosmetic issues on the rest of vehicle, The trans on my 2nd Maxima started to slip at 356,909 miles and I had Aamco completely overhaul/recondition the entire trans, replace my rear main oil seal (Since trans was already out), install an auxillary trans cooler (Since I drive about 65,000 miles per year), and repair (Drill & Tap) my front exhaust manifold studs.
Engine wise, the car runs 110%. I just replaced the timing belt, water pump, both upper camshaft seals, and lower front crankshaft seal, back in February of 06' at 352,000 miles. I performed a complete tune-up (Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filer, and PCV Valve) at 345,000 miles back in September of 05' when I bought the car. I also cleaned the throttle body plates and bore, and I also performed an "On-Rail" Port Fuel Injection Cleanig Service as well.
More info and pics to come very very soon... Feel free to drop me a line in my guestbook.
