I am putting my truck up for sale, She has been an awesome ride, and I have had a blast with her, but I am back in Iraq and am looking to buy a home when I get back this time. So, I am selling her, as you can see from the pictures she is a great mud truck. So check out the web page here and make me an offer. Thanks.
This is my 1986 GMC Sierra K3500, it has an 18" Atlas Spring lift and rolls on 44" TSL's wrapped around 16.5X12 Weld Super Single Wheels. The stock 400/208 combo was removed and a built 400 (by Mad Dog Transmissions) and a remanufatured Divorced 205 (by High Impact Transmission and Gear) installed. The 205 is located in the center of the truck, so that the front and rear driveshafts are the exact same length. Which would allow the use of the front shaft as a spare if the rear shaft gets damaged. Also, the CV joints were upgraded to 1350's and the axles input yokes were upgraded to 1410's. It currently has a 454, TH400, Divorced NP205, Dana 60 Front, a 14 Bolt FF w/Detroit locker, both with 5.13's. Let me know what you think, and sign my guestbook and rate my truck.
Well, I had the truck out to Texas Hogwallow over Memeorial Day. Not nearly enought trucks showed up, but some of the trucks that did were pretty impressive. I ended up with a second place for class IV, which wasn't bad considering the truck that took first place had twice the horse power as me. Even with all that HP he still only bested me by about 6 seconds, which was the combine time from the two events we raced in from our class. I also added a video of my run in the mud drag, just over 9 seconds. All in all I had fun, which is what it's all about right.
Ok, here are few photos from the Hogwallow event on the 5th of April. I took 1st in the mud drag race, and tied for 1st in the mud bog race. Again, my son and I had a blast. Enjoy the photos.
From the Horseshoe Mud Drag race.

From the Mud Bog race.

I haven't been able to find any updated pics at the Hogwallow site, so here are a couple of pics in front of the house the day after the Halloween bash.

Here is a pic of the truck from Labor Day weekend.

And the below series of pics are of my run in the mud bogs.

Here's one with me and the truck, for reference, I am 5'8".

Here is the front axle, a Dana 60.

And here is one of the rear axle, a GM 14 bolt full float.

Here is one of my truck and another GMC, from the looks of it, the other GMC may have been lowered a bit. But it's still a good reference for how tall my truck is. And the other one is just my truck out by it's self. Nice huh!

These are a couple of photos from outside the shop.

The 18" Atlas Spring suspension lift and 44" TSL's look pretty good, if I do say so myself, and I do.

Here is the twin stick after installation is complete. This is the Off-Road Design floor shifter Kit for the divorced 205 transfer case. It, more or less, fit right in the factory hole for the old 208 transfer case shifter.

Damn, that's a tall truck!

The driveshafts! Yes, a divorced transfer case has 3 driveshafts. One from the transmission (the short one on top-left), one for the front (bottom-left), and rear (right).

And from the front.

These just arrived from Jegs, they are Hooker Super Comp Headers, 2" primaries and a 3 1/2" collector. And no, they aren't chrome, they are ceramic coated.

Out back of the shop and with my old tires, MT Baja Claw 38.5; and one out back with the 44's mounted.

In the shop after the 18"lift was installed, but before the tires.

For reference, that is a stock Jeep Wrangler on the left (though my truck was still without 44" TSL's), and a stock Jeep Cherokee on the right (my truck has everything installed here).

Rear end with 12" lift, and 18" lift.

Thanks for checking out my truck, don't forget to sign my guestbook and rate it. Thanks again!
