January 15, 2002 I took delivery of my new Pro5. This was the beginning of an ongoing project to personalize this great car into something really cool.

To date (11-11-2007) I'm at this... mspeedP5's 2002 Mazda Protege5

The first modification was to install window vent shades on all doors...

and tint all the glass rear of the front seats limo black.

The next project was to highlight the brake calipers.

First thing is to mask off everything to keep any overspray in check.

I applied 4 coats of "plasti-kote" bright red brake caliper paint for full coverage.

Hey again, I read your thread on the turbo build, and wow mass respect for going thru all that and not giving up!!! I probably woulda thrown the white flag, but once your in that far you almost have to see it to the end! I'm glad you did because you show what a P5's potential can be, because these ain't no honda's with a billion options, keep it up and keep checking up on mine!! peace.
