Wildchild1990's 1977 Pontiac Firebird

1977 Pontiac Firebird. 350 Oldsmobile original engine.
this vehicle was purchased by my father for me when i had acl reconstruction. the day of my surgery was september 20th and that was the day my dad suprised me with the title to the firebird. the car was purchased from a crack head for 800 dollars. my dad had to work them for the shaker hood scoop that he will be putting on his 1973 pontiac catalina. check out his page his sn is captain catalina. the catalina has a 400 ram air 4 cam with a 4bbl the cat is bad ass. check it out. my firebird needs a new heater core that will be replaced this sunday thanks to little michael pennington. pennington has a 1980 firebird formula. with a 301 its a little engine but it will give u a run for ur money. check his ride out his name dr. feelgood. his father has a 1996 trans am check that ride out. thats the nicest ride ne1 of us has its bad ass. well i just wanted to thank every1 that is helping me with this car. thank u every one.

here are some pictures of the exterior... the door skins are going to be replaced and the rust will be bondoed. and sanded and painted. the rear windshield has rust around it but my dad has bondoed it and it looks much better and it stopped the rust from spreading.

so today wasnt the best day, dad was putting the steering wheel back on when the whole steering column broke, so that means we need a new steering column before its drivable.

this vehicle is a great vehicle and thanks to my father and my friends this car will be in nice condition by the time im ready to drive the car. thank you dad for the car.

When are you going to spend some money on this car? LOL. It will come together soon. Remember what they say, girlfriends and old Pontiacs are expensive. You've got to start working out for football also. Your grades could stand to be a bit higher, and you've been slacking at your chores lately. You need to be nicer to your sisters and nicer to your mother. When's the last time you let the dog loose and played with him..................................................................................................................................... Remember, these are all things your car will never question you about or judge you, That's why we love cars....Because they give you enjoyment. Don't create stress over wanting your ride done. Your Pontiac loves you and will wait for you to fix her up. We'll get er done soon. Happy Birthday also...............Dad

The olds 350 is a good engine, you could easily drop in a olds 455 (same mounts) and would kick a$$ hardcore.. But Im an olds man.. a pontiac 455 would be more matching..to the car Anyways Keep me posted, Check my olds out sometime PS you could just bypass the heatercore hose for a temp fix.. (no heater tho) and watch water temp(depends on how good a radiator youve got)

It looks like you need a new heater core and ignition switch. I will graciously offer to drive this car for you to test it out and make sure it is safe for the road. No need to thank me. I'm glad you have a car that you are happy with.
