Well, here it is, the daily ride, my 1990 Ford Festiva L. This is my commuter/winter beater and is being driven in place of my 99 SVT Contour wich can be viewed here.

The car's name is BLKTIVA, and i know, it's blue....but that's all going to change. I'm a stickler for only owning black cars and the Festiva will be no exception. Come spring of 06 the car will be completly stripped, all rust and damaged parts repaired and will be completly re-sprayed inside and out in a beautifull gloss black, i intend to convert the interior to black as well.

The car is propelled by a 1.3 4 cylinder and mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Average fuel economy at 75 on the highway: 38MPG. With the mileage this car gets coupled with the fact it takes regular unleaded fuel verses Premium in the SVT i save enough money each month in gas to make the payment on my SVT, wich leaves more $ for mods, always a good thing.
