3000 RPM / 2.45 (STR) / LOCK-UP / TORQUE CONVERTER:  Andre @ EDGE RACING CONVERTERS ("Click Here" >>>> Link text).. puts out a real nice "custom" built converter at a fair price.... Many of the converters out there are "shelf" type converters that were built "without" a specific weight car , gearing, or power level in mind.... For stall accuracy, torque multiplication, and the retention of "near stock" street drive ability ("If" your looking for that), it's hard to beat a converter that was built for your cars "EXACT" set-up.... This is also the first converter that I've ever had (and I've had plenty of other top-names over the years (IE: Vigilante, Yank, Ect...) in a car where literally "know one" that I've ever taken for a ride even realises that the car has a "other than stock" stall converter in it....that is "until" you stomp on it, and it instantly flashes to 3000+ RPM's, and then it feels like you got rear-ended buy a school bus going 80, LOL.... STEREO SYSTEM: HEAD UNIT: Double-Din Pioneer Head Unit With Spectrum EQ (CD / Tape / XM Satellite Radio).... AMP: 5 Channel MTX Thunder Amp powering everything.... SPEAKERS: (Up Front) MB Quart Q-Series Separates (5 1/4's & Titanium Tweeters).... (REAR FILL) MB Quart Q-Series 6 X 9 Co-axials, with Titanium Tweeters.... EVERYTHING Speaker-wise was installed & concealed in the factory speaker locations (with some (IMO) necessary "for best sound" enclosure building that I did underneath the factory carpeted side-foot location's up front).... The only speakers that I decided to Re-locate after they were already installed in the side-foot locations, were the tweeters from the separate package up front.... They just never sounded that great while they were installed in the factory side-foot locations right next to the 5 1/4's,  So... after trials of angling them didn't do enough for the sound,  they were brought up and tried "Forward Ear-Level" at the factory screw location on the side Front-window pillars (so nothing had to be cut up), and luckily they sounded "absolutely perfect" in that location.... BASS: 2 Kicker 8inch Woofers Substations....I've tried several different size woofers and enclosure set-ups in here borrowed from the stereo shop where a friend works, and the dual 8's gave me the quick, clean bass response I was looking for (I'm now in my 30's,lol) and still actually carry the low frequencies pretty well (and something important to me), they remove quick & easy for track days)....  IMO, You really don't need to go very large with woofer size in the Vette's to get great sound.... the speakers are practically right at your back in these cars, and the cabins are SO small to begin with.... WIRING: Complete Stinger Brand Wiring (and fuses)throughout.... Also, I switched back to a manual type air conditioning face plate unit here.... Nothing but problems with the digital piece(plus this one was lighter, lol.)Joe7215's 1995 Chevrolet Corvette
(Below) RADAR EQUIPMENT:  I previously had the ESCORT PASSPORT 8500 X 50 "Blue Display" Radar Detector shown here in the Link>>> https://www.escortradar.com/store/passport-8500-x50-blue.html and the "two" pictures below, (The 8500 X 50 was a really great piece) but I have since upgraded to the New ESCORT PASSPORT 9500 IX (GPS) Radar Detector in the following radar detector pictures.Joe7215's 1995 Chevrolet Corvette

THANKS ALOT FOR ALL THE VOTES GUYS, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

Just like I did with my "previous" Escort 8500 X 50 detector,  I now use the Escort 9500 IX detector "paired" with The ESCORT ZR-4 LASER SHIFTER.... ZR-4 Laser Shifter Link>>> http://www.escortradar.com/zr4.htm ...... As of lately In my area, we've been getting more and more of those crappy Red-Light and Speed Cameras around.....For those unaware of what they are, and/or how some of them work... "In very basic terms" , they radar confirm your speed,  they snap a picture of "you" through your windshield as you approach, then a snap-shot of your licence plate as you drive past.....then you go out to your mail box a couple weeks later and you have a nice fat ticket waiting there for you, nice huh.....Some states hold the car owner 100% responsible for the ticket, even if they were not the driver(if you can believe that crap)....and some states ticket the driver(But only "After" the car owner dimes them out giving them all their info).........Anyway, much like the various police radar types out there that these type of high-end detectors "easily" give warning to...  this GPS detector also gives you "plenty" of warning to the whereabouts of the speed camera locations.... As Speed-Camera locations are added to areas throughout the country, you simply update the detector (Via mini-USB cord) from Escorts web-site..... Basically it makes the "entire" multi-million dollar speed camera program going on currently throughout this country, a big fat joke....PS: like many new laws and devices (IE: "The road to hell is paved with good intentions", lol) this system is sold to the public as yet another way to keep peoples speed down for safety....But in actuality, It has been found that nearly ALL of these speed-cam locations have been specifically chosen, and placed in areas of town where the speed limit drops down from it's regular posted speed through a short section... this way they can ticket you for as much cash as possible...which is really ALL the entire system is about in the first place....nothing but revenue.
