rollovaUb2's 1988 Ford Mustang

these are a few pictures of my 1988 Mustang 5.0 Convertible... she's a beauty... and in amazing condition for her age... she's got really low miles.. and is about to get ridda that damn emphazima that goes along with havin four catalitic converters and 2 crappy mufflers... it'll be replaced with a UPR catless X-pipe, and 2 flowmaster original fourty mufflers... she'll rumble.. and loudly... she already turns heads when people see her... but now they'll be lookin before she's in sight...

UPDATE!!: i found a guy with original 1969 dual slant tip chrome tips... he's wanting to sell.. though im not too sure about his asking price.. its pretty steep.. but it would look amazing! gimme some feedback.. i want to do something not many people have done tipwise... i see TONS of everything with duals on it nowadays.. and i want mine to stick out.. not only sound-wise.. but style-wise...

UPDATE!!!: okay.. so its been quite a while since ive updated this.. cuz i havent had any money to do anything to mine for a while... but just recently.. i have.. plus some stupid old hag backed into the side of my car... damnit...had to get the fender and door replaced.. but all is well she's been fixed.. repainted black.. and i shaved off the 5.0 emblems to give it a nice sleeper 2.3 look.. ;) just for them ricers.. plus while it was getting fixed.. i took off the pinstripe from the side.. so now she's just straight black... new headlights were added with foglights added inside the grill...(looks sweet)... performance wise ive done some things as well i added bbk ceramic shorty headers, and a full cat-less pypes exhaust system(headers back).. couldnt afford the flowmaster system.. plus i like this one more.. it sounds the way i want it to..(my friend has flomasters.. we compared)

UPDATE!!!!.. okay so im kinda getting into this upgrading thing... i ordered and have recieved a professional products 65mm TB and EGR... and i also have on the way a set of black ford racing 9mm race wires with a BBK fenderwall intake.... i am also picking up a 140mph speedo tomorrow and there is a new speedometer cable and gear coming in the mail... as soon as i get a chance i will put further pictures up...

UPDATE!!!!... oky doke folks.. for those of you actually reading this... its cool.. i just bought a set of turbine style wheels for my stang and a mass air conversion system... she's gunna be learnin now.. not only that ive since my last update not only recieved and put on the fendermount intake, 65mm TB and EGR, FRPP 9mm wires, MSD cap and rotor, and a few other odds and ends... ive also installed a performance suspention system on the stallion..!!.. and DAMN DOES SHE HANDLE!

looking down my home street, she's glistening as if the paint's still wet..

the engine bay is super clean.. and right now only complimented with botch platnum plugs and accell yellow 8.8 superstock spiral core wires, with an accell cap and rotor.

brightened up them ford logo's with just some quick cleaning with some breakparts cleaner.. rubdown with wire gauze... 2 coats of primer, and 2 coats of flat black paint... then rubbed off the excess with wire gauze after it dried... looks great.. you can see them alot better now.

like i said before.. the exhaust is pretty bad... the hangers broke.. and the whole system sagged.. causing not just the mufflers to hang hazardously low (around 2 inches), the tips look REALLY bad...

rollovaUb2's 1988 Ford Mustang
new and shiney... and loud as hell!.. she turns heads from 4 blocks away....

rollovaUb2's 1988 Ford Mustang
KYB GR-2's... so much better than stock!

rollovaUb2's 1988 Ford Mustang
Vogtland Springs... approximately a 1.75-2" drop.. she sits low.. and looks GOOD!

a mustang might be a wild horse.. but damn she looks like she's ready to pounce!

rollovaUb2's 1988 Ford Mustang

you can really see the difference in stance height...
i also shaved off the 5.0 emblem to keep her a little more sleeperish.... and the pinstripe went as well.

yeah.. finally got a pic up of me... doesnt have my car in it though... yeah.. hard to take a pic of yourself and your car at the same time.. lmao...

stuff that has yet to come on this are:
(1)Underdrive Pullies(soon)
(1)A/C delete Bracket(soon)
(1)Smog Delete Bracket(soon)
(1)Professional products fuel rail and regulator kit(later)
(1)FRP E303 Cam and roller rockers(distant future)

im going to go with the blacked out look on this car.. ya know.. the one that says 'dont fuck with me'.. haha.. and in other news i am in contact with a person whom owns a shop that is doing an engine swap on a 1993 Cobra 'R' Mustang(yes.. its real.. not a replica.. i checked the VIN numbers) and the owner blew out the bottom end.. with the heads and intake manifold in good condition... also along with this is is the MAF sensors and computer... the owner was going to scrap the whole thing.. and he has given it to me free of charge.. the swap is goin on in the upcoming month and i will then have a blown(yet lots of nice parts) original Cobra 'R' engine.. :)

ALRIGHT FOLKS!!.. Before you start ripping my car apart, my intentions are to keep this car looking as sleeperish and as clean as possible, aka no big ass wings, no 5 inch exhaust tips dragging behind my car, and DEFINATELY no stupid stickers plastered everywhere, if something on this car is changed on the exterior, its for a PERFORMANCE upgrade only, nothing cosmetic will be done to this car until i reach a horsepower and torque range suitible for me.. which i dont know if thats possible.. cuz i love horsepower.... the only minimal cosmetic thing that may be changed in the extreme future is the wheels, and that aspect is still undecided.

Very clean stang, polish your headlights with brasso and a rag, works great
