OK well about 3 weeks ago I bought this Honda CRX. When I got it I realized that it needed a lot of work so I decided to take a lot of pictures and document the restoration. Here are some pictures taken the day I got the car.
The car has had a rough life and it has been knocked around a bit along the way. So I thought that I should tackle the exterior first and then worry about the interior and the engine.
Update #1
Just put on my new wheels! Got some GS-R Fat Fives!

Update #2
My Aunt backed into my car!!! :(
She is paying for the damage but still!
Basically everything not on the car in this picture needs to be replaced! (except the Headlights...)

Update #3
Well it has been 11 months since I got this car... Since then I have done a lot. Here is a little list of some stuff I have done since then:
-Replaced the rear bumper cover.
-Repaired the rear bumper beam.
-Replaced the rear tail light.
-Replaced the front headlights.
-Replaced the front corner lights, two times.
-Repaired the front left wheel well, removed rust and welded on new metal.
-Repaired the crack in the drivers door.
-Repaired the hole in the rear quarter panel.
-Straighted the engine mount.
-Repaired the front bulkhead, it was real bent up from when the car was written off.
-Repaired the front bumper support after my aunt hit up.
-Replaced the wheels and tires.
-Replaced the battery.
-Took out the old non working security system.
-Fixed the sunroof switch.
-Diagnosed the problem with the sunroof falling off it's tracks.
-Tons of other small things that I don't care to list...
I of course didn't do all of this on my own. I had a lot of help from friends and some body shops too, so thanks a lot guys!
All that remains for me to do it get the front bumper to seat properly over the beam so that the sides can be clipped in. Then the shop said they would pass the car through the structural inspection...
Here are a few pictures I took in the last week.

Update #4
Got some good news about my car, I finally got it plated! It has officially gone from being a daily project to a daily driver/project!
The car if defiantly not done! But at least I can drive it around and continue to work on it now!
I still want to get the hood, front quarter, rear bumper, and the repaired spots painted to match the blue on the rest of the car before the winter. I also want to get the proper front bumper on there but that will probably have to wait until the spring.
Here are a few pictures I took right after I got the car plated:
Update #5
Winter is coming! I have decided, that because I don't have anywhere to properly store the car over winter, and I don't have any money to buy a winter car I am going to have to drive the CRX all winter!
I have made up a list of things that my car needs before it is winter ready:
-4 winter tires with metal studs
-Raise the ride height to the max
-Take off the rice bazooka and swap in a stock tailpipe/muffler
-Put some sand bags in the trunk to help with braking
-Invest in a heavy duty shovel for digging out the car WHEN it gets stuck
I think that if I implement all of the things on that list my car will be able to stand up to the rough Canadian winter.
