I can say these things: for no boost check all hoses and coupling, bent piping around couples. i dont think you mean that know that i think about it just read it wrong. and slow spool-up, better breatheing helps spool, start with exhaust, what size do you have? the bigger throttlebody and port intake to match it, then theres a porting the head deal, opens intake and exhaust ports to help flow and smoothes the combustion chamber, i found the machine shops charge $150-$200 around here. then you jump to RPW cams and gear, lil bit pricey but probably be worth it for you to get one. i have a stage 2 turbo cam, stage 1 spool time is cut and a lil added performance mainly low rpms i believe, with a stage 2 cam, spool-up time is cut a lot and performance seems a couple psi higher than what it is. like, your running 12psi but runs like 15psi performance more higher rpms than s1.

Are you saying your spool-up time is high, or is there NO boost at all? for the vaccuum Q, i used a regular plastic vaccuum TTT (thats the shape, 5 nipples in all) from autozone for BOV, FPR, Boost gauge and Wastegate that was connected on the far left side of the Intake mani, where the stock FPR vaccuum runs from. i use a SAFC, the original digital one for tuning with the 390s. stock setting running the 390s was way rich so i use it to take fuel away, and under wide open throttle i have it set at -14%, yea, negative 14% and its running 12.3, so its running great AF ratio, wtih room to add when the time comes. and im also running stock fuel pump. *****s to get you started..
