Right now my satellite is at a shop where i will be taking the tired old 318 out and bag it while i build up my 44o big block. i will also remove the 904 tourqueflite to be replaced by a 727. i have purchased an 8 3/4 rear housing that i will add axels and a center section to as i get them, im going with either 3.23 or 3.55 posi center.(because i know the original 8 1/4 will not make it past the first burn out). i am working on getting some Cragar SS wheels 15x10's out back and some 15x7 up front.

for the 440 i will be getting the deck height shaved down to a zero deck to allow for around 10:1 comp ratio, with 452 heads. i will add a nice cam, intake and carb too. so that should be around 450-500 horsepower.

for paint, when the 318 is out it will go to Gordons Paint and body shop in savannah, Ga. where we will paint the engine compartment(after i clean it). we will also check out the rest of the body, and work on dent removal and rust repair.

i plan on doing a front end rebuild(meaning replace ball joints and other front end suspension components)to keep it safe and to get rid of skeakyness.

what do yall think?

i got the interior out, the floor pans are solid. and the carpet is gone! i have the seats at my house and im cleaning them up, they need to be reapolstered but that will have to wait until after the car is driveable.

UPDATE: ENGINE BOUGHT
its a 76 block with 452 heads(hardened valve seats and simular flow to the 902)
