My car is at the body shop now. ive removed the vynal top and started to sand off the paint/rust/vynal top paste. and it needs some bodywork!

i got in my 8 3/4 rear end, finally! its been sitting at a UPS store in Marrieta, Ga since August. i had shippping problems.
its an 8 3/4 housing out of a cuda drag car. it is 5" shorter than the stock 71-74 B-body axel, so thats 2 1/2" s backspacing on each side for larger tires!

and here it is after that plasic wrap was off and i broke an old $1 knive taking it off, made in china...
its replacing my old 8 1/4 rear, which would not have been able to take the abuse of a big block for very long.
i also cleaned the whole interior that i removed
front seat, as clean as it will ever get.
my back seat, door sills, new go-wing, and my door handles. the back seats cleaned up really well. when i removed the seats i found a king kong card from 1976 and some old quarters in really good shape for thier age.
this is build sheet number 1. it was behind the rear seat, i found another one for a different satellite under the front seat and part of another build sheet under the carpet.
here are the upper back interior pieces, i dont know what they are called. one is weathered but they both cleaned up well.
my upper and lower door panels, which also cleaned up well.
