My Legacy GT was purchased new in June, 2005 after selling my beloved 1998 Civic Si to my son. Nearing retirement, I decided that I wanted a more mature and sofisticated car with good performance. As an all-season (read: Canadian winters) car, it also had to have AWD. I've never owned a Subaru before and I only test drove it out of curiosity, but once I did I was sold.

Can't see much of the engine past the intercooler and the plastic shroud, but I know it's there...

The first winter I couldn't find 17" wheels for the snow tires so I installed the Nokian RSis on the factory mags and then bought 4 BBS RKs for the summer.

Only a few weeks after installing them I hit a 4" rock on the highway and did this to the FL wheel:

On a wonderful, warm October day, after washing both the LGT and the Miata. The car looks great after 1 1/2 years. So does the Miata after 11 years. That's my son's Proteg? project car under the blue cover.
