Vehicle Specs:
1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

When I got my Jeep it was not my first choice of vehicle. I was a College student and I didn't have a big budget. My Dad's co-worker ended up giving me a great deal on his old daily driver. It had 111,000 miles on it when I got it. I thought it seemed a bit high for a '97, but the car was in great condition otherwise. It took the drive home with the new to me ZJ for me to fall in love with it. It wasn't long before I was looking to modify it.
The first thing I did was suspension, wheels and tires. I went with the Rubicon Express 3.5" SuperFlex kit. It gave me new coil springs, shock absorbers, lower control arms, sway bar dis-connects, as well as the ability to clear 31" BFG Muds on Eagle Alloy 089's. The next step for me is replacing all the suspension.I'm gonna put on a KOR (www.KevinsOffRoad.com) 7" Long arm kit and JKS adjustable coil over spacers; this, with a little fender trimming, will let me clear the 35's I want to be running. I'll still need KOR steering and trackbar with the new suspension.

As of January '07 I replaced the factory 4.0L with a new one from Chrysler. I regret not putting in the 5.2L, but thats niether here nor there. I also replaced the radiator, water pump, alternator, power steering, exhaust and most hoses and belts. I added a K&N FIPK air filter and a flowmaster muffler.

Just got some cool new Hella lights. 550's in front and 500's on top. They mount to the roof rack I just got from Kevin at www.KevinsJeepParts.com. The basket includes 4 front light points, two rear light points, tire carrier, shovel and hi-lift mounts. It's definitely a necessity.

Just headlights on the left and all the lights on the right.
