Here is my 85 impulse (non-turbo:(, the day I bought her off my neighbor for $500. The only major problem was the bolts that hold the torque tube on had stripped out. That was easy to fix.
The first thing I did was put some silver pinstripes and some official Wal-mart spray paint racing stripes on her.
I never heard of an impulse before, but hey it was RWD, two door, 5 speed, and cheap, so why the hell not? I soon became the e-brake king of my town...
This is what happens when you're racing your buddy at 110 mph and a van pulls out in front of you...
P.S. wish I had some pics of the boxes I built for my subs. 3 boxes, 1 for each 12 and 1 for two 10's. fits perfect!!
