Brake Modifications

August 22, 2008 - StopTech Big Brake Kit

- Black calipers with slotted rotors, comes with stainless steel lines and Axxis Ultimate brake pads. The calipers are 4 piston and the rotors are 2-piece. The performance of these brakes is phenomenal. The stock brakes started to fade after 2 or 3 laps at the track and never regained pedal feel throughout the day. These brakes never faded at all after 4 25 minute sessions at the track, which is around 40-50 laps total. Plus they fill up the space inside the wheel really well, and look awesome.

August 22, 2008 - StopTech ShortStop Rear Rotors

- Slotted. I got them to match the slotted front rotors. Not much different from stock other than that.

August 22, 2008 - StopTech Stainless Steel Rear Brake Lines

- I can't say I notice much of a difference from the stock brake lines. But then again, the big brake kit makes a pretty dramatic difference that would probably make the brake lines unnoticeable.

August 22, 2008 - Carbotech AX6 Rear Brake Pads

- Actually creates a suprising amount of dust that is rather hard to wash off.
