This one started out as a joke and turned out as just that...1991 Toyota Tercel 87Hp. What else could i do with it?...

My friend got this car from his dad for free as his first car, it served him well for most of the years in high school, but then he started to look at some newer cars when little things started going wrong with it, battery, lights, tires. And the thing that did it was that the garage he had been taking it to had told him that there was a crack in the block and it would need a new engine. He offered the car to me for 50bucks. At the time, i didn't have anywhere to keep it and my mom said i couldn't get another car, so i told him no. As about a month went by, my friend got a new car and was no longer driving this one at all. The junk yard said it would be about $75 for them to come and pick it up and dispose of it. It was at this point that he offered it to me for free. Now myself not being one to turn anything down for free, i took the car. I talked to my one teacher at school at the time and he said it would be ok for me to keep it there and work on during school. With a little air in the tires and a jump to get it started i drove it the night i went to pick it up. Heres some shots of when i first got it to school...

Not too bad for a free car...right? Well, i couldn't live with just any normal compact car for long. The movie 2Fast 2Furious was due to be released in theaters in about two months from when i got the car. That gave me an idea. I need a hot piece of rice to roll up to the movie in, lol. So me and a few of my friends go to work painting(my own custom work), cutting springs, cutting holes in the hood for true 'cold air intake', and fabricating a one-off alluminum, triple decker wing to set the car apart in a crowd.
Well, heres what we got out of it...

Laughter is the only thing that came to mind when most people saw it, which is what i had in mind. But the car was fun as hell, it would do e-brake slides like no tomorrow, and took some of the worst beating i've ever given a car and continued to run strong, well, 87Hp. strong, untill the day i sold it.
Of course we had to do some big ol' smokies with it ;)

And one final day at the track for a high school challange where it actualy surprised me and ran a 17.4s quarter mile.
