The first time i saw this car was when i went with a friend of mine to look at it. It wasn't until i rode in one of his Talons(1994 FWD w/ JDM Cyclone motor, 20g, 550's, FMIC, ect...) that i gained respect for these cars in terms of being able to destroy about almost anything on the highway. He had 2 Talons in the past and knew it was something special when he heard about it...

When we first went to test drive the car, he had just totaled his Neon and was looking for something a little faster, almost anything would do here for being faster than the Neon. So the guy that was selling the car didn't know much about cars, lets just say he had to ask his grandmother, who's house he kept the car at, for a srewdriver to take off the liceanse plate. He had taken the car to a speed shop called Denko Performance up in York and told them to just do everything to the car and all he did was supply a credit card. After things were all said and done, they rang him up for a little over $30k in all the upgrades they did. Being the nice guy that he was, he let both of us go out driving the car for about an hour. That was a fun ride to say the least. The most memerable part of it was when some red-neck in a big truck(turns out it was a 454, 30 over, and pretty fast for a truck) was next to us at a red light and he looked over, long story short, he wanted to go, so we went, and about 30 seconds after he finaly caught up to us at the next light, he looked over in amazement and asked, "What the hell u got in that thang." I had to bight my lip to keep from saying a Hemi, lol. But my friend who was driving answered with, "A real big turbo." and he shook his head and said, "Damn!" Then we took off and went back to the guys house. That sold the car for both of us right there, it was one of the fastest things i'd ever been in, as well as my friend. After talking for a while, my friend was set on buying the car and told the guy that he just had to wait on a check from the insurance company from his Neon so he could buy it. It turns out that it took a while for him to get the check and his mom was against him getting the car anyway, so he didn't get it. After like a month or so, i had almost forgot about it until i was on the highway one day in my 300zx and one came flying by me, i remembered then and just decided to call the guy selling it out of the blue. He still had the car, but had stopped advertising it for sale. So long story short, i had to have it. Sold my 300, and made a great deal with the guy and got the car. Heres one of the first days i had it at my grandmother's again with my little cousins...

I do admitt, i had some fun times in this import! Killing Cobra's and other assorted car on the road who just dismissed it was another import with load exhaust. Little to their knowledge the load exhaust was the sound of the wastgate openning and venting in their faces as i passed them :) But after a while, i missed running on 8 cyclenders and needed something else, so a buddy of mine traded me a nicely worked Mustang in return. Hope he has as much fun with it as i did in its prime. Take care of it Ty.
