SHIT TUNE!

farlsmagee's 1997 Nissan 240SX

****Finally BLOWN!
The stock internals didn't last long, but no worries... She's being rebuilt as we speak. A few upgrades to look for in the near future will be Weisco pistons, ACL bearings, ARP head studs, Z32 MAF, Cometic Head Gasket and a new tune. With a whole new head and a polished block, I am hoping to boost her up above 10psi and make close to 350whp. Hopefully it will be ready before NOPI this weekend... so keep your fingers crossed! More updates soon

****Finally Boosted!

****The first dyno run today put up ridiculous initial numbers. The outlook is promising. There is still more tuning to be done but I will have everything posted shortly...

1st pull - 242rwhp - 258ft/lbs torque @ 8 psi and running rich as hell. There is so much room to work with that I am expecting somewhere near 275-280 rwhp or possibly even more at a mere 8 psi.

****The final run was 298whp, 291ft/lbs tq @ 8psi ... Get some.

this is a crappy pic - i dont have a scanner... you can see where the car slipped on the dyno in the middle of the torque curve.

Hi, i was just wondering how many miles the s14 has before you done the internals? how long did you run the motor with the Greddy setup before it blew? and do you think the Greddy kit will blow the motor if its had just been bolted on with no more modifications, stock boost and high mileages? (200,000 miles)please reply asap. because i am planning on the ka-t setup but afraid it will blow on me as soon as ive installed it. your answer will be greatly appreciated. thank you
