Mext mod: Water methanol injection systems from Snow performance $400 USD: This mod took time, so if your in a hurry, relax. My first priority is to hide as much of it as I could. This is a 6 hour job for sure if you want to hide it. I will only post a couple of pics for now as I have a few finishing touches to apply-FINISHING TOUCHES DONE.

location of modual on the shock tower. I mounted it here to gain easy access for tuning the system when the time comes.

drilling for mounting the pump
rpatyna's 2006 Ford Mustang
location of pump- next to washer tank, okay if I had to do this again, I would have drilled the hole on the other side of the plug ( in black) that way the hose would have routed a bit better.

Next Mod: Driveshaft. Okay after looking over most of the internet for a single pc driveshaft, I am dissapointed in them all for one reason. To much money ! So I am having my own built this week. Cost $500 Canadian.

Old driveshaft

rpatyna's 2006 Ford Mustang

>New driveshaft is in. Had it built myself. I went with steel instead of Aluminum. I did some reading and the 4" OD of the aluminum can cause clearance problems if you are loweing the car at all. Weight savings with steel ...18 LBS.

next Mod: MEZIERE electric water pump.cost $334.99 USD with relay kitBrenspeed homepage
this mod was no as bad as it seemed once you read through it. Drain the rad, this however will not get out all of the coolant. Place a bucket under the water pump itself and as you loosen the bolts and wigle the pump, the rest of the coolant will come out ( that if you intend on reusing it.)

you will have to get a new belt if you have under drive pulleys installed. Just go to your local parts store for a K060990 belt.

wiring the pump

rpatyna's 2006 Ford Mustang

you can buy an add a circuit at your local speed shop. Don't worry about the "other: red wire in the fuse box, that is for something else. All that is left is to hook up the blue wire from the rely together with the Blue wire from the pump. Make everything look nice and turn the key to on. You should hear the pump running.

Mods to come over Christmas.... Edlebrock pan hard bar

Headers Arrived! Cost $1400 Drove down to Sweetgrass Montana to the UPS warehouse to pick them up. Saved hundreds on brokerage fees. Made it from Calgary to Sweetgrass and back in 5 hours flat. The radar Detector did it's job. This install takes a while, so take your time and be patient.the guys at Stainless works were very helpful. They are great quality and fit very well.

Next mod is apprearance- Paint Mirrors same colour as car. Removing the mirror is fairly simple- simply push mirror in as shown in the picture. Put a towel between your hand and the mirror ( incase it breaks) and pull up on the bottom left corner, it should pop right out.

rpatyna's 2006 Ford Mustang
I know that some people have not sanded there mirrors and they turn out fine. I am just fussy. The body shop recomended that I start with 220 and finish with 320. They took about 3 hours to sand. It will be worth it.
