SOLD APRIL 2008

This is my B2000. I want to keep it mostly stock, just clean it up a little.

In the beginning:
These are from about 30 minutes after I bought it in August 2006.

Here is a quick Photoshop of the paint scheme I am planning.

Not sure if I should paint the bumper, door handle and side grill black or not....

I noticed on another site you mentioned doing a v8 swap, My suggestions are to go with the Vortec 4.3L from chevy, get you an aluminum intake to put an edelbrock or holly carb on it. and a cam & headers. make sure your cam is matched to your intake manifold. Edelbrock is good, and my preference for cams are lunati. but thats just me.

put 2.5 or 3" exhaust on it and a 2 in 2 out flowmaster muffler.

I did a 350 V8 swap over a decade ago, the V8 is more horsepower than you can stick to the ground unless you narrow the rear end and put some 10" or wider rims and tires on it to get traction.

Also you will need to get a walker aluminum radiator or equivilant to cool a V8.

As for Gas mileage, my V8 was only putting out 325 horses and it took 50 USD a week to drive 34 miles aday 5 days a week. That was 9 years ago. Gas was much much cheaper then.

Stick with the 4.3 Vortec or hop up the 2.0 or 2.2L F2 engine.

I like the sun roof. the subie seats only cost me 10$ per seat. got lucky. they are a little big. and don't sit qiut right, they don't go back to be confortable. I still have to weld a bolt in to bolt them down. as long as i have my seat belt on they dont' move. I am thinking of seats from a porshe 914, or maybe a geo metro, they are a little smaller.
