My performance is pretty good for a 420a for now. I am looking to get a Unorthodox Underdrive Racing Pulley and probably upgrade to a Star Stage 2 Turbo Kit if I can't find another car. Anyway my first performance mod is pretty easy to notice. I swapped the short ram intake for a full AEM Cold Air Intake. Then I bought a full DC Sports catback exhaust and header off a blown Eclipse for $150. So I swapped my old Pacesetter exhaust and stock exhaust manifold for the new parts. I then unfortunately blew my motor and had it rebuilt. Before I blew my motor I had my valvecover powdercoated by Modified FX for $40. So as I was having my motor rebuilt I asked them to paint the motor greyish silver but told them not to paint the valvecover. Well guess what? They painted the whole motor including the valvecover so I had to repaint it myself. Other than that the motor is pretty much stock. Check back soon for more updates.
See if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. Why would you paint over that amazing valvecover.
