Ode to the Electric Car

I am very interested in the idea of the electric car.  The design possibilities are endless.  The latest performance electric vehicles are quite impressive.  The little Datsun "White Zombie"jamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang is awesome down the quarter mile.  White Zombie jamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang was recently upgraded from lead to lithium batteries, saving SEVERAL hundred pounds.  The British Lightning jamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang is awesome, as well as expensive.  The Tesla jamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang roadster is too small for me, but still quite impressivejamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang

I do not like the edgy designs of cars with too many straight lines.  Nor do I like the "jelly bean" look of all rounded corners.  I yearn for the classic lines of the 275 GTB Ferrarijamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang jamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang , 246 Dinojamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang , and 250GT Ferrarijamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang jamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang .  I like swoopy fenders that blend into the doors and bulging rear fenders housing the big rear wheels.  The Shelby Cobrajamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang is awesome, but it is also too small for a big 6'2" guy.  I like the look of the covered headlights. Lke the Shelby Daytonajamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang , not the exposed headlights of the AC Ace look of the Cobra.jamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang

The dawn of Lithium batteries with ceramic casings has allowed reduced weight with a more compact design.  I want a Mega Amp ride that looks like a classic Ferrari.jamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang   Please, please, please don't make me settle for mundane design.  If I have to, I will take a Nissan Leafjamiehjrs 1997 Ford SVT Cobra Mustang apart and make my own design complete with swoopy fenders.

Hey! Thanks for the comment! I've actually had a small budget (and great credit), just added a little at a time for past 6 years.

How do you like the 4.88 gears. I have 3.73 and thats plenty low enough for me

4.88 gears are only recommended if you are a Crazy SOB that disregards practicality and good sense. But I can accelerate to 172 mph @ 7200 RPM in 5th. Gas mileage sucks, constantly changing gears, and can not trust ANYONE to drive my COBRA (need complex algorithm to calculate downshift points). But if you Shift Like a God (of course I do!) it can be FUN!
