I"ve owned my Vette for about 12 years. It's strictly a sunny day toy. I've always liked the look of the Baldwin Motion Performance Corvettes. So, back in January, I decided to take the plunge and give the car a makeover. Over the years, I've done some work on the car myself. But, the items on my list were way beyond my abilities or garage space. I worked with Brent Jarvis and Mark Webster of "Performance Restorations" in Mundelein, IL. From the interior forward, they rebuilt most of the car. The only thing they didn't take apart were the headlights, front clip and bumper.
Major items: New wiring harness, A/C retrofit, rollbar, 5spd trans with Lakewood SFI bellhousing, L88 hood, new balancer, waterpump, MP Stripe.
Engine: 350ci, Full roller valve train, coated headers, Performer RPM heads, Performer RPM Air Gap intake, Holley Street Avenger carb, Be Cool radiator.

Here's the interior strippped and the Dynamat extreme installed.

The rollbar was fabbed/installed by Alston Racing of Antioch, IL. I heard their jaws dropped when told I wanted the convertible top and rear storage compartments to function. They pulled it off. It's a thing of beauty.

Here are a few pics of the finished product

My other toy and daily driver is a Mazda 6. Here they are tucked away in the garage.
