After two failed attempts in the past with other project vehicles, project "DArth NEMISIS" was to be blue printed before even purchasing her. With the mistakes that I experienced, I made sure that this was to be done the way I see fit. NEMISIS was to be set on rules;-know your budget. This is only a hobby, priorities like employment, bills and family first! If you cant afford it, stay focused on what you can pay for, but dont be cheap either.-balance the "3". Appearance, performance and comfort. These are the three important aspects to this project. Have a clean, neat exterior look, nothing outragous and definitly anti-rice. Set a reasonable horsepower goal, dont expect a certain number, yet dont accept a number that is unacceptable. Do not compromise any comfort amenities such as a/c, power steering, etc.-do research/take your time. Research everything necessary for a qauality service or product. Obtain knowledge and ask questions on the things you dont know. Have patience on its turn-out and do not rush the task at hand, do it right the first time! -DO NOT FOLLOW A TREND! The west coast has a bad influence on setting a trend called the "California Standard". This is why the first two projects were failures, trying to keep up with the latest trend, and cant afford it (refer to the first rule). Build this project the way I see fit and f*#k the critisizem on what the west coast has to bad mouth about. With these rules set in stone, I did my best and have been successful thus far. As of the 2008 car show season, project "DArth NEMISIS" has earned over 35 car show awards since first competing in May of '06.This is a page of all things that made this possible. These are all the people, business establishments, websites, materials and entertainment that helped me win what I have below. DO NOTE: All awards were won with a limited budget of my only car that is daily driven and I have no sponsors assisting me what so ever!
