Another 86 BII.
This one is a XLT, it has an Auto Tranny w/man T-case & man hubs. Pretty much a basic rig, but with the nicer interior & also has A/C & Cruise.
I bought 2 of them as a package deal, & now I'm trying to make 1 good one for the trail. It may have an odd Ranger part, or two, in there as well!
I haven't yet decided whether to do a camo paint scheme, or try to mimic the original scheme, but with colored bedliner type material.
I plan on putting a lift kit on the front, probably 4", so I can move up to 33" tires. With 4.56 gears, the 33's will end up with an overall ratio just like it was stock (27" tires & 3.73 gears)
I now have aquired a Dana 35 axle for the front & a Ford 8.8 axle for the rear, they came out of an early 90's Explorer
