Update- For some reason pictures aren't showing up anymore. Hopefully CarDomain will fix this soon.

I bought this original "Heavy Chevy" Chevelle about two years ago but that was the only time I drove it since it badly needed rebuilding. It came with a non-original 305 that was spray painted different colors with leaking headers and a TH-350 that couldn't hold fluid. I didn't bother taking pictures from then, so all these are from 2006. Since then i've replaced everything under the body with Hotchkis control and a-arms, 2" drop spindles, Eibach 1" lowering springs, and 12" brake rotors all around. I had the 12-bolt rear rebuilt with an Eaton posi and 3.73 gears. I'm finishing up the fuel plumbing now and should be firing it up in about month.

The original frame cracked while I was jacking up the front end, so I found a '68 Cutlass frame and had it powdercoated

I had to replace the floor pans and trunk floor

looks like you have a good start on the project. I like the engine combo you are putting in. The suspension sounds like it will be cool too. check out my camaro sometime
