A rare car indeed. A genuine convertible sold new in Australia as a factory right hand drive.
This car has the electric roof and the power window option.
We've owned this car since 1988 and the restoration has been started. There's still a long way to go but we'll update the photos as it progresses.
So far it's had the body removed from the chassis, the chassis was then aligned straight on a laser jig. Body dipped in rust removal solution and bare metal work has begun. The rear wheel arches have been rebuilt as they were severely rusted and the doors were also repaired. Next will be a new trunk floor and paint.
If any others of these cars exist in Australia we'd be interested to know.
