The Egg Yolk Chronicles
I installed 2001 corners, sides and tail lights right after I got the car. The visual improvement was great but I didn't care for the "egg yolk" look of amber bulbs.
I was feeling kind of frugal (meaning I didn't want to spend $50 on four bulbs) so I researched alternatives with some of the Atlanta 7ers (Thanks Mark) and went the Rustoleum Route
Make sure that you lightly dust the bulbs so that the result is translucent rather than opaque. If you over do it, you can wet sand it a bit.
The end result looks very satisfying
