I just retrofitted RS6/A6 ECE Bi-Xenon Projectors with Hella Gen III Ballasts and Philips 5000k D2S bulbs in my 05. It only took me about 20 hours with no sleep, but they came out good plus they were the first retrofit I have done.

Here is a picture of how little room there is to spare and I installed my projectors are as far into the housing as it can go while still looking good. The intake is just touching the light; its not pushing hard at all.

hey nice xterra, I really like the projector retrofit. can you tell me when you got all your parts and how tough it was to do the retrofit? I have been looking around online at people who have done them and looks somewhat labor intensive. are you using D2S bulbs?

Nicely accessorized... audio, navi head unit, and exhaust! I have a 2005 Off Road and advise a new 5" lift by Calmini, with new 16x8 Pro Comp wheels, and some mud terrain tires (Pro Comp Xtreme MT, Mickey Thomson MTZ, Super Swamper SSR, or Toto Open Country MT). To get tire reviews/ratings go to http://www.offroaders.com/tech/AT-MT-Tires/. To compare prices call 4 Wheel Parts 800-337-9005 and usa Lance ext 5410. My next purchase are new bumpers from Shrockworks, and a Warn 9.5ti, 9500 lb. - 67550 winch; go to http://www.shrockworks.com/Nissan-Xterra-Winch-Bumper-Bull-Bar-pr-16153.html. Good wheelin!!!

Sweet ride! Your truck looks awesome. How does it feel driving a 6 speed Xterra? I've been wanting to get me one myself, but I don't have a clue as how it feels on the road. I mean, I know how to drive stick, but I never driven a truck B4.
