Hey everyone! Before I give a bunch of info on my truck, here's a little bit about me. I'm 23 and just graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Music. I have a fantastic boyfriend of almost 3 years who helps me with all of my mods. In fact, the stereo in my truck was designed and installed by him. His tricked out 2003 Dodge Ram, recently featured in the June issue of Car Audio & Electronics Magazine, is still for sale! Visit his page for more info: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2844637
If you are in California and want audio/video or other electronics installed, or if you want a personalized stereo for your ride, check out www.drivecustoms.com.
2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Rumble Bee #4787
Solar Yellow 2WD
5.7L HEMI
345 HP
UPDATE: It's been a month since the bee was dropped off at the body shop and they sure have made progress! We decided to do a complete paint job, so it's taking a little more time. The hood, tailgate, ground effects and miscellaneous other pieces have already been painted. Any day now, the tonneau cover, bed and cab will also be finished. Then it's laying out some custom stuff and I'll get to take it home! For now, here are a few progress photos:
I removed the bee logo from the doors and replaced the plastic insert with yellow suede to match my new seats. Sorry, the new logo will not be revealed yet, but here are a couple of shots of my new seats before we removed them from the truck and the center console with a touch of yellow suede on the underside. Also, a new dash piece is being modified for my new Pioneer Z2. In addition, here is a shot of the box after its new cosmetic changes. The exposed portions will be wrapped in yellow suede. The Z2 is working out nicely, but I can't tell what will go where the storage compartment was just yet. It's a surprise! Also, here is a shot of my brand new 10" subwoofers... CDT Audio GOLDs.
Here are the first two photos from the body shop, when the truck was first disassembled. I would post more pictures but I haven't had the chance to take any more since. Maybe next week!
Below is my current list of modifications and there are still more to come. Don't forget to visit
