-Update- The lil 2.6 motor finally couldnt take anymore and she gave out. The head gasket popped also and it blows water from every area just turning the motor over. I cant complain though, it was a good one. But I like the truck to much to get rid of her. I now have a 2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab with the 4.7 V8 that I am payin out of the ass for. Came with posi trac rear too which is pretty fun. I already got a dent in it too lmao. But anyways now that I have some decent transportation I'm savin up to fix White Lightning by the end of the year. I was gonna put a 350 V8 in it, (I already have the motor) but all the money in transmission and rear end change not to mention the custom driveshaft that would have to be made and the idea of this motor probably tearing U-Joints out everytime I dog it, I actually miss the sound and flame shooting of the old 4 cylinder straight pipe. And the reliability of that 2.6 mitsubishi motor. Plus I can keep her 4x4 which is awesome. And although I have no recent pics of her or my new truck, White Lightning has a new paintjob. Now its two tone Flat Black and the stock white with Lightning Bolts going down each side. But it still aint worth a damn without a runnin motor. And I am also gonna fix her fender, bumper, headlight, signal light, and mirror from her Toyota appetite while I'm at it. I will have new pics when I get her runnin by the end of this year. Untill then, heres her old pics.
Whats up people. First all, thanks for stoppin by my page. This is a page for my 1988 Ram 50 pickup. People around here call it White Lightning. She has balls. I've done more things with this truck that most of you wouldnt even imagine trying. Shes never let me down and she dont back down. I got her last summer. I traded my 94 explorer even for it. The explorer sucked ass because it was an eddie bauer and I blew a tire on it racing and fucked up the front end. This truck was sittin in the back of a car lot with weeds growing all around it. At first, I thought it was a piece of shit, but she quickly earned her keep. I dont think I will ever get rid of it. The 4wd works like a charm and believe me, I put it to the test. This is the best damn vehicle I have ever owned. Shes not the fastest, or the prettiest, but she damn sure is the toughest.
She does have a huge reputation in this area which keeps getting bigger and bigger. She is also quite popular with our fellow police officers as well. With her straight pipe, sometimes she draws too much attention. It does sound good though.
By the way the dent came from a very bad night in a bowling alley parking lot. It is a VERY long story. But all you should know is the dents came from a pussy driving a toyota that was starting some shit. The truck is going to be fixed in december when I get the parts I need.
I haved cleaned up the engine bay. Its just a start, I work on it a little bit each day I have spare time.

The only mods on her so far is a header, straight pipe, Accel Super Coil, NGK plugs, Mallory plug wires, and a Sunpro super tach, and a dixie horn. lol
I do have a shitty box with 2 8" subs and a 200 amp that I hooked up for temporary. And the thing that I still cant get over is they hit pretty hard! But when I get some extra cash, I will get me some decent subs in a truck box. I'm thinkin 2 10's and 400 amp.
Future mods will be, custom air intake that I am going to build myself, MSD ignition module, Distributor cap/rotor button, Weber DVF carb, Rancho air shocks with adjustable 2" lift for the front, Warn manual hubs, stock size mud terrain tires, halogen headlights, and a truck box with some decent subs. I'm tackling all of this a little at a time.
Heres some pics after some muddin. That good, stinky, icky kinda mud too. I tried to get White Lightning stuck but she wouldnt do it. Just gave me more inspiration to make her even better. I think next thing will be some lifter shocks for the front and some 30" 10.5" mud terrains.

Heres Blue Thunder, my boys truck. It is I belive a "85" s-10. She is 2wd but has more balls than most 4wd. Plus he knows how to drive her too unlike some pussies. Anyways he wrapped his up pretty good too. He hasnt got stuck with her since the 3 inch body lift and 31" 10.5" Mud Rovers on the back of her.

Heres a pic of me.

And the two greatest bands in the world.

Heres a pic of the gauges and the tach.

Some more pics of the motor.

Heres some pics of the truck

Heres that nasty dent that came from the faggot driving the toyota.

Heres the straight pipe. She sounds pretty good.

The interior...

Heres a pic of them auto hubs I dont like. I'll get some Warn's when I get some more cash.

Here you can just see how much the truck has changed over a years time. The pic on the bottom is from last year. You can see my thirst for mud hasnt changed.

And here is a bunch of pics of cars from the movies I loved growing up. I used to live off this stuff.
Heres the Vanishing Point 70' Challenger. Loved that movie.

Heres the bandit Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. I like this pic you can see the old bandit Kenworth in the background.

Heres a pic of the General Lee. Dukes of Hazzard is the shit. I loved them growing up. I've had I dont know how many toy and model General Lee's in my life.

And heres the bluesmobile from The Blues Brothers. I remember being a kid and not knowing what this movie was for my first time seeing it. But the car action in the movie made me want to watch it. It was also a good movie.

And heres the interceptor from the Mad Max movies. I remember watching these movies a million times each as a kid. I wanted that car so bad. I found out it was a 72 Ford Falcon XB GT.
