This is my 64 Mercury Comet Caliente. This is the way the car look when I purchased it. I bought it from a friend who apparently had it in the body shop.

Nice Comet! It is good to see that other people appreciate the Comet and fix them up. I like the color of your interior.
Good job,
Mark

Hey, thanks for the interest, yes the pan is fixed and back on.
I'll check out the site you told me about, thanks! But yours is gonna out shine mine when its done! As far as wheels, although I'm old school in that dept. I"m really looking forward to seeing, maybe 18s and 20s, but the attitude and
rake of these cars is really important! Keep up the great work!

Just cruisin by to check up on you!
I wondered if the 1/4 was going to bring this project to a halt.
Happy to see farther progress and neet ideas.
Those buckets look the same as mine (89 Couger XR7)

Really like it so far, I'm guessing red on the outside, best color for Calientes. I'm really impressed with the depth and
quality of your build. Keep up the great work!
