I purchased the car in 2001 and started with little things here and there. Stereo, suspension, body, and finally engine were gradually modified over the years. The car was mostly for show but over the years i've gone performance too. Take a look and see what five years and a few thousand dollars have done. Click HERE to view a video of me having alittle fun for a local tv show called Street Heaters.

Unfortunatly this picture was taken just before I put the front mount intercooler on it but those pics are on page 2.

Did you say front mount ?

yes that's right the car used to be the N/A 2.slow liter that was vw basic engine. well not any longer.(Engine info on second page)

Ok well i went to far too fast... Lets start at the beginning

The car started like this.

Well I knew how to build a stereo setup from watching my brother as i grew up so that was where i started.

Alpine IVA-D900 indash DVD/CD/MP3/AM/FM/XM lcd screen. I also have Alpine 6.75 Type R components and an Alpine TMX-R680A flip down roof monitor. I am currently building a fiberglass center console to house a 7" audiobahn monitor and switches for neons and such.

All wiring is Monster Cable.

I also have AutoMeter gauges to monitor the boost, oil pressure, and volts. Wide-band comming soon!!!

Next I had to get new wheels to go with the the Eibach Pro-kit suspension. I chose the 18" Katana KR-5 wheels with Falken ZIEX 512 tires.

The body kit is the Eribuni Shogun kit with a Kamie grill molded into the bumper. The original kit had an ugly grill so i cut it out and molded this one in with fiberglass.much bettervwracer47's 2000 Volkswagen Golf

sick, sick, ride. i was thinking about getting a turbo for my 2.0 but wasnt sure if it was worth it. did you get the new dyno results after tuning it? where did you get/find all the parts for you car as far as engine, body, .... everything. im having a hard time finding body kits, turbos & kit, brakes, suspension, and a cat back exhaust, pretty much everything for the 2.0. Any suggestions on web sites and where to get em?
