Well, needed some suspension work, and an allignment with that work (typical Ford sagging and aftermath there of...). Still needs that now, but I now have and electical delima, was running fine for about two weeks, but now I've put two batteries in it and they both keep failing. I think its an electrical ground or someting? I changed the alternator, changed the sidewall sylnioid, and have put in third battery which is taking a charge tonight. I hope that will do it, my next guess is the starter? I hate to chase an electical bug. It is carborated, but ran pretty well actually, and leaks not a drop, so I'ld like to get her going again. I also purchased some jeep wheels (that with some customizing might fit. They have worn 31"s on them, so a body lift, and some cutting may be in order. I would also like to cut the top in spring if I have the cash to finish the paint and interior mods such as roll bar and weather proofing. I'll try and keep updates.
Ok, well... Now I have replaced all of the battery cables, and the starter. But there was still the failing battery stuff. So I broke down and actually read the manual, and found that the volta-meter was maybe the cause. So, about $13.oo bucks after all of the above, everything seems to be running well. Although, now it appears the water pump area is leaking? It also desperately needs springs, allignment, and tires. Hopefully the tire/suspension fairy will come sometime in the night, or in the day for all I care?
