In the present day, the car looks like this:

OMG! the engine has gone! xD
I decided go faster, so i bought this little powerful engine

Here in Chile there is a free port taxes city, that city is IQUIQUE.
In Iquique (about 1100 milles at north of santiago) you can actually buy used JDM cars and engines, it is the only place on Chile where you can see RHD cars, rest of the country it is not allowed to buy any of this cars.
Here some Nissan JDM beauties from Iquique:
a really nice Nissan N14 PULSAR GTiR (damn i like that car)

A 2nd GEN B13 Sunny GTS (SR18DE ATTESSA)

And of course the JDM muscle, SKYLINE GTR (L)

There is also some nice mitsus like evos and GSR lancers, GTOs and FTOs. A lot of hots Toyotas, like levins and truenos of any gen (ae86, ae92, ae101 and ae111 even GTZ and BZR ones) supras and soarers; a few any gen RX7s and of course some hondohs like the little powerful hatch type R ek9. (sorry no pics, i'm nissan fan only :P )
So, as you can figured out, i traveled to iquique and bought the SR16VE Blue cover, it was taken from a Pulsar VZR N15 in japan, that was crashed from behind. The engine's price here is about 1000 usd, i bought this one without ecu and maf. For those who doesn't know the engine, here are some specs:
SR16VE
--------------
SR20de Low port based block (almost the same block than the Nissan/Infinity Primera/G20 P11 chasis)
NeoVVL head (Neo VVL it is the Nissan's response to Vtec)
Max Power output: 173 hp at the crank @7800 rpm
Max Torque: 119 ft-pounds @7200 rpm
Three stages power bands (1st low cams, 2nd intake high cam activated and 3rd intake and exhaust high cams activated)
About 108 hp per liter of displacement
(imagine an engine of 2 liters of displacement with this ratio, you will have an 216 hp naturally aspirated car :o )
Stroke: 68,7mm
bore: 86mm (same piston bore as a normal SR20)
Displacement: 1596 cc
Excellent bore/stroke ratio makes it a powerful engine with a virtually flat torque band
