When i bought the car, you would have to hold the indicator lever up or down in place to keep it going, i quickly replaced this...i highly reccomend just buying a complete cam assembly instead of the cam repair kit as it dosent work very well and is very difficult to install...the extra money spent is well worth it. Now i can turn on my singal no hands! whoo-hoo!
This is a picture of the new steering wheel installed. Its made by a company called Autotechnica and appears to be of very good quality...the hardest part of the install was waiting for the spacer piece to come as i was told initially it didnt need the spacer...It used the Grant steering wheel adapater kit. I hope to get some kind of a new center cap for it, but thats another project.
