SHIFTY101EASY's 1968 Ford Mustang

This one one of the first projects i tackled...the old heater plenum and hoses looked as if someone threw a weedwacker under the dash then let a 5 year old loose with about 30 rolls of duct tape.....

Needless to say...it was a disaster and i just ripped it all out and bought new stuff. I fought that stupid plenum for many days, laying on my back, upside dow under the dash...WHAT A PAIN!!! I ended up having to drill a hole in the plenum to get it go to up flush against the firewall so the thing would slide on the heater box correctly. I got it working and the heat and defrost works great now!

These are the 17x8 bullitt wheels i ordered before i got the tires mounted and balanced. I love these wheels!!! They have Federal Tire's top-end tires (S595) on them. Supposed to be great performers in wet surfaces and prevent hydroplaning...i havent driven the car in the rain yet so maybe i will find out this summer...All i know is the ride is smoother and the car seems to have less body roll and more grip compared to the old stock wheels.
