I picked up my turbo 7 back in July 2006. It has just under 62k on the clock. The seller bought the car from the original owner in 2002 with only 38k on her. The only mod done before I got it is an ACT unsprung, 6 puck racing clutch and removed airpump. I`m really not a big fan of this clutch on the street, ACT recommends NOT using on a street car as its engagement is VERY harsh. Its got to be rough on the trans, diff and their mounts though. One thing for sure is it damn sure gets it all to the ground:)
I`ve done a few things since getting it home. The best of which is going with the Racing Beat TII turbo back exhaust and fuel cut defender. Also a K&N air intake, Magnacore 10mm plug wires and NGK platinum plugs, removed the cold start assist (per Mazda service bulletin) and replaced the series 4 tail light assemblies seen in the current pics with series 5 tails which are generally considered to have a better overall look. More to come as I go along. A number of more indepth mods during winter storage, cleaned/upgraded secondary injectors and newly cleaned primaries, new vacuum lines, Megasquirt standalone ECU, LC1 Wideband as well as the addition of the following gauges, coolant temp, oil pres, vac/boost, air:fuel and volts.
I`ll post more as I go along, pics as well.

I added a couple of pics of the Megasquirt EMS. Car is currently
undergoing the above mentioned upgrades. Actually have not worked on it in several weeks as outdoor temps have been in the teens at best...... and my garage is detached from the house and has no insulation. I`ll get back to it as we get out of the deep freeze.

Having conversation with Bryan at www.bnrsupercars.com in preparation to send an S5 turbo (off the 89 - 91 RX7) to them for rebuilding and upgrading. We still are having horrible winter weather here in S.E. Michigan, I think I`ll try to fit myself into the box with the turbo and go down south for a while:)
I would love feedback from anybody who takes the time to check out my ride.
The following link shows the info on the stage 2 (and others) turbos they do for the RX7s

The next is the main link for them.

Received my KYB AGX adjustable struts today. Also got the Eibach Pro Kit progressive rate springs to go with em. Things are coming along slowly but surely.

I added four more pictures today that are close views of the extent of tear down that I`m at currently.

More pics now that my BNR turbo finally arrived. I gotta say that Bryan at BNR is great to work with and does really beautiful work. As I get farther along I`ll get pics of the original turbo (my car is an S4) This upgraded S5 turbo even bone stock was a large improvement over the S4s turbo just in waste gate design and a lot of S4 guys will source an S5 turbo and manifold and swap it in without any upgrades (to the turbo) at all. The BNR Hybrid S5 turbo, with proper fuel and spark control, is capable of............well here is a cut and paste from the BNR site from the stage 2 description.
"We have customers that have been very pleased with the performance of the BNR Stage 2. One of which made 332 RWHP at 14 psi, and the other running an ET of 12.3 at 114 mph in total street trim. The turbo responds like the BNR Stage 1, but has the extra edge of reliability at higher boost levels and also the extra volume of air with the larger compressor housing. This turbocharger upgrade is bolt up and no fabrication is required."

Hi all, well I`m finally back up and running. Car rides and handles much better than before (didn't handle to bad to begin with). Only running 5-6psi right now but I have an electronic boost controller (Blitz SSBC) yet to install. Then I`ll crank it up to 10-11psi and see where we are. If all remains good, air:fuel etc. I`ll get the harness adapter together and install the stand alone (Megasquirt) and head for the dyno and find out just exactly what I've gotten myself into :-).
I`ll also get some additional pics up a bit later.
