I purchased this car as a present to myself for surviving a year in Iraq. The car was purchased in this condition. I have plans for the ride but they are all very expensive. For now I just enjoy cruising and soaking up all the attention.

This Cougar has the Eliminator package that was added when it was painted. The scoop, spoiler, front spoiler, and strips add a nice sporty look. The AR Torque Thrust wheels are aftermarket and all for more rubber on the road.
The car has the sequential turn signals that really sets it apart.

The headlight covers flip up via a vacuum pump.

The interior needs the most attention. It is nice enough for cruising but at some point will need new carpet, seat foam, and upholstery. The instrument cluster needs some adjustment also.
Despite its short-comings this car is a blast to drive and I have never seen another 1970 Cougar driving around.
